The application and precautions of insulation material rock wool board

Rock wool is a kind of mineral wool.It is fluffy short fiber,which is use natural rocks and minerals as raw material. Rock wool can be made into felt,strip,pipe,granular,board and other shapes according to different usage. It is applicated to industries like Nuclear power station, power plant, chemical plant, large-scale kiln for thermal insulation. And also used for building exterior insulation, roof and curtain wall insulation, etc.

Rock wool board is an insulation material. It is used for heat preservation, lie between burning and sound-absorbing. It is characterized with light weight, lower thermal conductivity and heat absorption.

We should pay attention to rain when start construction. If it is used for keep cooling, we must add the damp proof layer,which is must be use refractory material.
