Introduction and application of runner brick

Runner brick is hollow refractory brick which is built in the trench of baseplate for ingot casting to connect steel brick and ingot mould.It is commonly known as soup road brick.Generally runner brick is a kind of  rectangular hollow clay brick which has a variety of specifications. In order to reduce the resistance of molten steel flow and prevent leakage of steel, the inner hole of flow steel brick must be smooth, the shape is regular and the seam is tight.

Runner brick is widely used in plate casting steel for all kinds of steel (including stainless steel, alloy steel).It is chracterized with high refractoriness,good chipping resistance and strong erosion resistance . The shape is regular, the channel is smooth, the size is accurate, the variety is complete.
