Precautions for using refractory bricks

Refractory bricks are referred to as fire bricks. Refractory materials made of refractory clay or other refractory raw materials. Light yellow or brownish. Mainly used for smelting furnaces, it can withstand high temperatures of 1,580℃-1,770℃. Also called fire bricks. Refractory materials with certain shapes and sizes.

Correct and reasonable use of refractory bricks can give full play to the refractory properties of refractory bricks, provide a service life of refractory bricks, and extend the service life of refractory bricks. Let's take a look at the precautions for the use of refractory bricks.

1. When using refractory bricks, clean the dust and slag on the inner wall of the kiln shell to prevent loosening.

2. The inside of the kiln shell should be flat without unevenness, let alone tilting.

3. The gap between refractory bricks should be controlled at 1.5mm~2mm.

4. Use special glue for refractory bricks to bond refractory bricks.

5. Leave a little expansion joint between refractory bricks.

6. Linings of important parts and parts with complex shapes should be pre-built first; share from Yi Neng refractory products.

7. The lock seams should be firm. When processing bricks, use a brick cutter to finely process the bricks, and do not use manual processing bricks; the capping bricks in the rotary kiln and under the brick support plate should not be less than 70% of the original bricks; in the joint bricks and curved bricks on the plane, they should not be less than 1/2 of the original bricks. The original bricks must be used to lock the mouth. The processed surface of the brick should not face the inside of the furnace.

8. Refractory materials must be stored in a dry warehouse.
